Grote Knip was another beach we hit today and the waters were spectacular! Again, we saw all kinds of new fish we hadn't seen before. Grote Knip was just about 10 north of Playa Lagun. It is one of the beaches that the locals go when they want to see some local wildlife.
The beach is more like a lagoon and surrounded by cliffs, almost a "U" shape. This place was much busier than Playa Lagun and definitely full of locals. Several kids were diving off the cliffs into some of the deeper sections. Cliffs were about 15-20 feet high depending on the location.
Anna and Olivia took about ah hour snorkel run. Two words from both of them- "Fantastic, Fantastic!!" Anna says the water here was the clearest she had swum in. We stayed at the beach til around 4:30 pm when we slowly started to head back southbound.

West side of Grote Knip. We parked our butts where we took this picture. |

Six different fish species in this pictures. All were no bigger than 3 inches long. |

A whole host of fish variety in this picture. Was about 8 feet below the surface. |
