We left the house around 10am to head over to Kaibo Beach
Resort. LT and I had planned to do a fishing charter with Blue Water Excursions
at 1pm. The charter was leaving out of Kaibo Beach Yacht Club and I wanted us
to get something good on our bellies before we departed. After arriving at
Kabio, we decided to go eat instead at Rum Point. We had plenty of time before
the charter, so figured Rum Point would be a great place to grab some grub, sit
back and potentially do a little snorkeling.

Captain Richard and Frank the deckhand |
A little after noon time, we headed back over to Kabio Beach
Resort. I wanted to get there a bit early in case they got there earlier. They
were coming to pick us up from across the bay and he mentioned he might get
there a bit sooner. The four of us hung out and played table tennis and walked
the beach a bit before finally get on the boat.
Captain Richard was the owner of Blue Water Excursion and he
was talking us out today. Frank, the deckhand, joined us for our trip today.
Both of the guys were great. We left out of the bay and started trolling
immediately for Wahoo. It ended taking about 2 hours before we finally landed a
Mahi, but the smile and grin on Thomas’ face was worth every waiting minute. We
lost two Wahoo unfortunately, but enjoyed the ride on the water.

One very happy boy!! |
Got back at 5pm back at the dock and headed back to the
house. Cooked the Mahi and pretty much called it a night.
