Day 7 – Cayman Motor Museum

LT entered into a happy place this afternoon, once he walked through the doors of the Cayman Motor Museum. The museum was the private collection of Andreas Ugland, a Norwegian ships engineer and shipowner. One of the people at the museum said that this was a very small part of his collection and that most of his higher end cars were in Norway.

There was just about every kind of car in this place, from Bentley to Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Fiats, VW and even a Vauxhall. LT educated me on the Vauxhall, as I had never heard of one or seen one. Not only were there cars, but he also had several boats, engines and motorcycles in the museum.

We were in the museum for about 1.5 hours and then made our way to Hell – Hell, Grand Cayman, that is. It is very small place, the size of a half of a football field, that is made of limestone formations. It even has its own post office. This place was more of a tourist trap and grab. We hung around for a few minutes before hitting the road and heading back to our side of the island.
