Day 6 - Dinner at Cafe Coyote

A long day's work deserves a good evening meal. We had quite a day of it today and saw a lot. So we decided to treat ourselves (again) to a wonderful meal a Cafe Coyote. It is literally the place right next to us.The greenery is so thick here though, you would never know. Cafe Coyote is run by Jenny, her husband Polo and their daughter. We hopped over to CC at around 6pm to be greeted by Jenny's daughter. We sat and got a round of Aqua (water). The kids each insisted they get a salad. Anna got the red snapper and I got a salami and pepperoni pizza. And yes, the kids really did insist they were to get a salad. We had the restaurant to ourselves.

While we waited for our food, Thomas kept pointing out the geckos. They were strategically positioned near all the lights for easy pickings. It was interesting to watch them have their own little meals.

The food was delicious. Both Anna and I did agree though that the snapper in Montezuma was a bit more flavorful.

We walked home to be greeted by this gorgeous moth on our side door. It was huge!! Wingspan was about 8 inches. I heard they bread them big in Texas, but this is quite ridiculous. Texas ain't got nothing on these guys.
